Feel the urge the scratch your scalp with that fine tooth comb? Don't do it. What winds up happening is you "injure" the surface of the scalp, and as a defense mechanism, it can/will continue to flake as a way to protect itself. If you notice flakes or are experiencing the itchies, take a look at your diet and the products you're using. Sometimes the fix is as simple as drinking more water, or not applying products directly onto the scalp.
