One size doesn't always fit all

When looking for products and styling methods for your hair, sometimes learning the science behind hair is helpful in finding products that work effectively. Just because someone with fab hair (and maybe a HUGE following) recommends something that works for THEIR HAIR, doesn't mean it will work for your hair and its individualistic needs. Natural hair (and hair in general) isn't monolithic. It varies in strand size, porosity, color and texture. The one thing that it has in common with other types is its make up. :) To treat it as a monolith is to do it an injustice, and will be the source of frustration and growing financial pains. :P

Learn about your hair and you'll realize it's much more manageable (and inexpensive) than you think.

Definitely agree. Everyone has to find what works best for them.
